2026.7.27 弊社会長の依田巽が第44回川喜多賞を受賞いたしました。

このたび、弊社会長の依田巽が第44回川喜多賞を受賞いたしました。
同賞は、故・川喜多長政、かしこご夫妻と、その娘である川喜多和子氏という親子二代にわたり、半世紀以上の長きにわたって映画を通じた国際間の友好と理解の増進に尽力された業績を記念するものです。日本映画の芸術文化の発展に多大な功績を残した個人・団体、あるいは映画を通じた国際交流に顕著な功績を残された個人・団体に贈られる、大変栄誉ある賞です。
贈賞式は、川喜多かしこ前理事長の命日にあたる2026年7月27日に開催され、川喜多記念映画文化財団の武田和代表理事より、依田に表彰状および宝塔などが授与されました。

We are proud to announce that Chairman, Tom Yoda, has received the 44th Kawakita Award.
This is a deeply prestigious honor, established to commemorate the achievements of the late Mr. Nagamasa Kawakita and Mrs. Kashiko Kawakita and their daughter Mｓ. Kazuko Kawakita, who together devoted more than half a century to deepening international friendship and understanding through film. The award recognizes individuals and organizations who have made an outstanding contribution to the development of Japanese cinema as an art form, or who have achieved remarkable success in fostering international exchange through film.
The award ceremony was held on July 27, 2026 — the anniversary of former Chairperson Kashiko Kawakita's passing — where Kazu Takeda, Representative Director of the Kawakita Memorial Film Institute, presented Mr. Yoda with a certificate of commendation and a commemorative ceramic trophy.
